If you have already purchased from StandardGates, we'd like to thank you for your business and patronage. We sincerely apologize if you have encountered any mishaps with our products; please contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can better address any concerns you may have and quickly help solve the issue. NOTE: StandardGates' gates & fences are American handmade and therefore may occasionally contain minor imperfections. StandardGates products may vary slightly from their online images and photos.
Always check for damages and missing items:
Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery to ensure that there are no damages or missing items. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii incurs a fee of $750, while shipping to other states within the US is free. If you are ordering both gates/fences and accessories/parts, shipping for the latter is complimentary. Delivery generally takes place within 3-5 business days, but may take longer. It is not possible to specify a specific delivery date or time, however, the freight dispatch will contact you on the day of delivery to coordinate with you. Please handle your products with care and seek assistance if necessary when unloading them. StandardGates is not responsible for any damages or missing pieces once the Proof of Delivery receipt has been signed. Please do not sign the receipt until you have thoroughly unpacked, inspected, and verified that there are no visible or concealed damages. StandardGates is not responsible for any delivery logistics after the products leave our workshop. If the shipping destination requires a truck lift-gate or other accessorial charges, these will be your responsibility and will cost $85. If you have a preferred LTL freight carrier, please let us know before you receive tracking information. Some hardware and accessories may be shipped separately and may arrive earlier or later than the gate and fence panels. Please also ensure that the products you receive are exactly what you ordered, and double-check that all dimensions are correct prior to installation.

At StandardGates, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. If you are not satisfied with your product, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and stand behind all of our products. Our gates are crafted by skilled artisans and undergo thorough quality checks prior to shipping. If you wish to return your purchase, you may do so within 45 days for a refund or repair. All items must be returned in good condition by the purchaser within this timeframe. Products cannot be returned after they have been attempted to be installed. Automation products cannot be returned once their boxes have been opened. StandardGates is not responsible for any damages that occur during installation. We reserve the right to examine all returned goods for damage before issuing a refund. Please note that shipping and expedition costs will not be included in the refund amount. Products affected by custom order requests may also not be included in the refund amount. Due to the wide range of custom sizes, designs, and materials used in our products, there is a 25% restocking fee for all returned items. StandardGates is not responsible for any defects in electrical equipment they resell, and any issues with such equipment must be addressed directly with their manufacturer. In rare cases, StandardGates reserves the right to cancel or refund an order for any reason.
Gates & Fencing:
We offer a lifetime limited warranty on the structural integrity of all StandardGates gate and fence materials subject to normal wear and tear. All of our gates come with a long lasting, low maintenance powder coating, with a weather resistance anti-gassing primer undercoat, unless specified. All of our gates wooden components are protected with a transparent oil and wax unless specified. Do not lay gate/fence panels with wood down in the rain because stagnant water may eventually cause the wood to buckle.
StandardGates is not the manufacturer of any automation, or electrical products, sold and therefore is not responsible for any malfunctions that respective hardware may encounter. Any related issues must be dealt directly with the product's manufacturer.
Some minor weeping of rust from tiny crevices not reached by the powder coat finish is normal and may occur after rain. Such rust is not structurally damaging and may be controlled by the application of black or clear silicone caulk.
Our wood is not and cannot be perfect; small visual imperfections may be present. Some minor darkening of wooden components not reached by the transparent wood stain is normal and may occur after rain. These dark spots are not structurally damaging and may be controlled by sanding then reapplying of wood stain.
